The NoiseStop fx1107 pu adhesive is an excellent bonding agent it is designed for bonding any of our
products.
DESCRIPTION
GENERAL NoiseStop Adhesive is a solvent-free, single component, moisture-curing
tile adhesive based on polyether polyols. NoiseStop
Adhesive is MDI based, contains no volatile monomer and is TDI free.
USES NoiseStop Adhesive is used as an adhesive in the installation of acoustic
surfaces using rubber tiles. NoiseStop Adhesive is clear and can be used on coloured tiles. NoiseStop Adhesive can be used on black
tiles. NoiseStop Adhesive contains a special accelerator for fast cure whilst minimising the amount of foam generation.
APPLICATION
COVERAGE/USAGE The usage rate of the material will be very dependent on the
type of tile and the method of use and is normally in the range of 1.2 m²/kg.
METHOD of APPLICATION
Tiles should be laid on sound concrete or timber that is
free from high moisture. NoiseStop Adhesive should be applied over the whole floor
area. NoiseStop Adhesive based mixtures should not be applied to wet surfaces
(i.e. surfaces where there are visible signs of moisture such as obviously damp
patches). NoiseStop Adhesive can be used after rain when the surface has
visibly dried.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place, indoors and avoid unnecessary opening of
containers. Do not add any other materials to this product without written
permission from the manufacturer. Once opened NoiseStop Adhesive will start to
cure and a skin will form. Partly used containers should be resealed
immediately and re-used as quickly as possible.
USED
CONTAINERS
Treatment/Decontamination Rinse thoroughly with a strong aqueous detergent
solution and LEAVE PERMANENTLY OPEN. The reaction of isocyanates with water leads to the formation of carbon dioxide, which can result in
pressure build-up in closed containers. This treatment converts any liquid
residue into an inert solid. It is advisable to superimpose a 'Decontaminated'
label after treatment.
