We produce and supply these superb, inexpensive ‘Gutter’ mats which not only enhance the actual greens but of course stop any damage to bowls that may end up there. We have always protected the bowls by the insulation on the upright outer sides of the gutter but most times the base of the gutter is gravel, sand or similar.
We developed these mats as you can see from the images above and they are proving most popular. We tailor make them to fit most gutter sizes (widths) so we can cope with any width up to a metre.

- 10mm thick by 1 metre long by 7 inches wide for £3.60 each +VAT

- 10mm thick by 1 metre long by 10 inches wide for £5.33 each +VAT

We can produce the mats for you in any thickness 6mm to 25mmm and in any width up to a metre. We have found through experience the 10mm thick version is ideal.
These mats are produced from recycled materials. Delivery for a full set would be about £30 on a pallet.
Example:
Bishopthorpe bowling green has a seven inch gutter and it took 134 mats to complete. The cost therefore was 134 x £3.60 +VAT and delivery. A total expenditure of £584.76. It took one man 2 hours to install all the mats.
