How do you finish the walls or ceilings once they are installed?

All the panels we provide, including the direct-to-wall panels and the boards that come with the soundproof systems, can be finished like standard plasterboard.

All our panels have an acoustic plasterboard as the outer face, allowing plastering. Alternatively, tape and fill the tapered edges before decorating directly onto the boards.

 

What do I do with the electrics?

Electrical outlets can be reinstated once the soundproofing has been fitted.

We can provide acoustic putty pads to line the electrical back boxes.

Can I hang anything on the wall?

Yes, you can hang things like mirrors and pictures on the wall.

If you are planning on fitting heavy objects like kitchens you should make sure the units are secured to the existing wall behind the acoustic wall.

Can I fit the soundproofing myself?

You should have no problem installing our soundproofing solutions if you are a competent DIYer.

If you prefer someone else to do the work, we recommend using builders, joiners, and plasterers.
