The best way to sound proof a shower pump would be to box in the shower pump using MDF or similar and lining the inside of this enclosure with soundproofing materials. A combination of Barrier Shield, Egg Box Foam or Noise Stop Foam have proven to be successful in reducing the airborne noise created by the pump. Using our Isolation Mat underneath the pump can help to reduce any vibration from the pump which in turn will reduce the sound it creates.
