Shower Pumps
ORDER TODAY CALL: 08451 306269
Shower Pumps can be placed in many areas of a home such as an airing cupboard
or a loft meaning that people are often disturbed when they are in use.
The best way to soundproof a shower pump would be to box in the shower pump using MDF or similar and lining the inside of this enclosure with soundproofing materials. A combination of Barrier Shield, Egg Box Foam or Noise Stop Foam have proven to be successful in reducing the airborne noise created by the pump. Using our Isolation Mat underneath the pump can help to reduce any vibration from the pump which in turn will reduce the sound it creates.
To install these products correctly the first layer you line the enclosure with would be the Barrier Shield, once this in place you then put the foam layer over the top, Noise Stop Foam or the Egg Box foam.
A typical Combinations of Products for this application is a layer of the Isolation Mat, a layer of the 5mm Barrier Shield and a layer of either 10mm NS Foam or Egg Box Foam, quantites is dependent on the size of the enclosure being built.
