Studio Soundproofing

We offer many solutions for studio soundproofing. Whether the room is within a garage, outside building at the bottom of a garden or maybe a room within your own home.
The density and quantity of the materials is crucial in gaining high levels of reduction. Choosing the correct materials is essential. Using materials such as the Dense Fibre Matting, Sound Breaker Bars, Barriershield and the acoustic wall panels such as the NSSW1+ will ensure that sound is reduced.
For existing walls a batten system on the existing wall using a combination of the materials listed below will help to reduce sound significantly. For new stud walls the correct level of mass would need to be applied. Building up mass on the wall will help to reduce the sound. Using the Sound Breaker Bars or leaving air gaps will helps to reduce the vibration and lower frequencies from travelling through the area. The same method of soundproofing would be applied to the ceiling areas.
For floors, floating floors such as the Noise Deck Solo or Noise Deck Solo Plus would be ideal. These floating floors will help to reduce vibration through the floor. Is it important to isolate floating floors from all walls using the Noise Stop Isolation Tape. This helps to reduce flanking. It is also important not to nail or screw floating floors to any surrounding surfaces.
Building a room within a room offers high levels of reduction and is strongly recommended if the space is available. We can offer advice on how to build a room within a room and insulate it using the correct materials.
Take a look at the list below for further information on individual products, or for advice on how to put these materials together to build a successful recording studio or practice room contact us on 0845 130 6269.
