Armafix  

Armafix pipe supports are recommended for use where thermal bridging may occur. This is particularly important on refrigeration and chilled water pipes where there is a possibility of condensation taking place, between the pipe and its fixing. In heating installations the use of pipe supports will generally improve energy conservation.

Description

With Armaflex insulated pipe support. Pipe support with self-adhesive closure.
Material

CFC-free PUR/PIR bearing segments, embedded in Class O Armaflex or NH/Armaflex tubular or plate goods, and glued to it; outside bearing shells made of painted aluminium sheeting 0.8mm thick, which simultaneously serve as the vapour barrier for the PUR/PIR bearing segments.

Armafix Pipe support and Clamps

Insulated pipe support, single piece, with self-adhesive closure, CFC-free PUR/PIR load bearing inserts (RG 145kg/m3), embedded in Class O Armaflex insulation with two outer metal shells made of aluminium sheet 0.08, which also acts as a vapour barrier for the PUR/PIR inserts. Clamps made from steel with an electrolytic zinc coating which protects the clamp from corrosion. The clamps are supplied with a nut (M8/M10) for fixing. The tension screws are fused with a combined slotted – cross recess head.
