Regupol Acousti-Tile has been specially developed to comply with the building regulations, and is the first acoustic tiling system to comply with Part E.

Independent testing of the system has demonstrated that it complies with the TTA’s Coefficient of Restitution figure (0.56) for light duty applications such asdomestic dwellings. The system’s impact sound insulation performance of 19dB also exceeds the required level set out in Part E of the building regulations, the minimum being 17dB.

The main component within the Regupol Acousti-Tile system is a high performance acoustic underlay, which attenuates impact sound at source for any tiled floor finish. Tiles are laid on top of the acoustic underlay using a high quality adhesive – which is also acoustically proven. The acoustic tiling system is then completed by filling in the joints using an appropriate grout finish.
