Installing the Regupol Isolating Strip
The Regupol 6010XHT Isolating Strip can either be bonded to the base floor or loose laid (if bonding contact us for a list of recommended adhesives). Bonding should be carried out in accordance with the adhesive manufacturer's instructions. Ensure that a sufficient width of Regupol 6010XHT Isolating Strip is used for the partition and cladding. Any surplus material should be trimmed with a builder's knife.
NB
- Regupol 6010XHT has a maximum load bearing capacity of 0.8N/mm2, therefore this must be taken into consideration when calculating the linear loads.
- The recognized technical rules of the industry, and the code of practice requirements of BS8203:2001 "Installation of Resilient Floor Coverings are to be observed.
- Regupol Acoustic Underlayments can be easily installed providing BS 8203:2001 installation guidelines are observed.
