SoundLay E Acoustic Underlay is supplied in standard sheet sizes. these are easy to lay onto the floor in a staggered pattern, tightly together.
- The base must be flat, free from holes, unevenness and pointed objects; any flakes, plaster or other debris must be removed.
- It must be laid with its soft side (regnerated PU foam) against the floor.
- The material must be laid flat. A selvedge is provided to simplify laying - the selvedge overlaps the adjacent sheet; the join may also be saled with adhesive tape. Alternatively it can be butted together and covered with 200 micron PE membrane. There must be no gaps between adjacent tiles/sheets and no voids under the sheets.
- At all vertical surfaces, the SoundLay E Acoustic Underlay
must be turned up to a level slightly above the finished floor level.
