Crown FrameTherm is a non-combustible inorganic glass wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533 and manufactured in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000
Fire Performance
Crown FrameTherm is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN ISO 13501-1.
Acoustic Performance
Crown FrameTherm Roll and Slab have excellent sound absorption characteristics.
Permanence
Crown FrameTherm is rot proof, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria. Crown FrameTherm is odourless and non-hygroscopic.
Handling and Storage
Crown FrameTherm is supplied in polythene packs.

Application
Crown FrameTherm is a thermal, acoustic and fire resistant insulant for use in timber frame construction. Crown FrameTherm Roll can be used for the thermal insulation of pitched roofs where insulation is fitted between rafters. Both slab and roll can be used in the following applications:
  • Thermal insulation of timber frame walls
  • In combination with Polyfoam Linerboard where 90mm deep studs are used
  • In combination with Crown DriTherm for the thermal insulation of twin insulated timber frame walls.
