Crown Timber Slab consists of a resilient, unfaced,
non-combustible glass mineral wool slab with a very high level of
thermal resistance.

wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and is
manufactured in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS
EN ISO 9001: 2000 |
| Crown Timber Slab has a thermal conductivity of 0.032 W/mK. |
| Crown Timber Slab is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN
ISO 13501-1. |
Crown Timber Slab has excellent sound absorption characteristics. |

will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria. Crown Timber Slab is odorless and non-hygroscopic. |
| Crown Timber Slab is free from CFCs, HCFCs and any other
material with ozone depletion potential in its manufacture and
content and represents no known threat to the environment. |
Crown Timber Slab is for the thermal insulation of external
walls and warm roofs in timber frame construction. Crown Timber
Slab is friction fitted between studs and rafters and are
570mm wide to suit commonly used stud and rafter spacings.
Crown Timber Slab can also be used for acoustic insulation in
timber framed separating walls. |
Crown Timber Slab is easy to handle and install, being
lightweight and easily cut to size.
It is supplied in polythene packs which are designed for short
term protection only. For longer term protection on site, the
product should either be stored indoors, or under cover and off the
ground. Installation instructions are on every pack.
Crown Timber Slab should not be left permanently exposed to the
elements. |
