Rocksilk Krimpact Panel Slab is a consistent density, compression resistant, rock mineral
wool slab. It has comparable compression resistance to a mineral wool lamella product,
but is much more cost-effective. Rocksilk Krimpact Panel Slabs can be produced with a
compressive strength of 70 to 100 kPa and are made to order.
KrimpactTM technology realigns the mineral wool fibres during manufacture to increase
impact strength without dramatically reducing thermal performance - making an ideal
product for use in composite panels. Furthermore, Krimpact technology achieves a
consistent density slab. This ensures better long-term compressive strength, high impact
resistance, better thermal performance and a thinner, lighter product compared to other
high-strength insulation options.
