Monarfloor Deck 9 - The Sound Solution, York, UK

Monarfloor Deck 9 system is designed to reduce sound transmission through concrete floors or existing timber floors in situations where finished floor height is critical. Monarfloor Deck 9 consists of a layer of LRAC foam bonded to 9mm moisture resistant MDF. When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system it enables a concrete or timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Part E (see tables).

Installation

• Fix Monarfloor Acoustic Flanking Band at the floor perimeter.
• Lay Monarfloor Deck 9 over masonry (with levelling screed if required) or existing floor boards, in broken bond pattern, applying adhesive to all tongued and grooved panel joints.
• Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band.
