Eggbox Profile Foam is a great product for reducing noise reverberating inside a room or an enclosure. Most commonly used in areas were sound needs to be dampened such as studios and cinema rooms. Small enclosures such as boxing in shower pumps and machinery enclosures would also benefit from its acoustic properties.

The open cell nature of eggbox foam means it is ideally suited for absorbing noise, and the surface profile means it disperses the sound waves more efficiently than a flat surface. When the material is used inside a room it will help to alter the acoustics with in the room, by reducing noise reveberating from the surface that it is applied to it reduces the reverberation inside the room. When the material is applied inside an enclosure it works in the same way, absorbing the noise and reducing the level of noise generated inside the enclosure, meaning the over all level of noise should b e reduced.Eggbox foam is easy to work with, it can be cut with a pair of scissors and applied directly to most surfaces using a spray adhesive.

Eggbox Profile Foam is a flexible open cell polyurethane foam post treated with flame retardants, particulate fillers and a polymeric bonding agent, which offers class "O" non flammable fire performance and sound absorbing qualities.
