| NoiseStop Systems Monar Floor Deck 22 |

Monarfloor® Deck 22 system is designed to reduce sound transmission through existing timber floors in situations where finished floor height is not critical.
Monarfloor Deck 22 consists of a layer of 8mm LRAC foam bonded to 22mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard.
When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system it enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Part E (see table).

The acoustic insulant shall be:
Monarfloor Deck 22, manufactured by Icopal Ltd, Lyon Way, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL4 0LB.
Install Monarfloor Deck 22 in accordance with relevant specification clauses and design details.
Installation
- Fix Monarfloor Acoustic Flanking Band at the floor perimeter.
- Lay Monarfloor Deck 22 over existing floor boards, in broken bond pattern, applying adhesive to all tongued and grooved panel joints.
- Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band
