Monarfloor® Impact 18 system is designed to reduce sound transmission through concrete floors.
Monarfloor Impact 18 consists of an 8mm layer of LRAC foam bonded to 18mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard.
When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system it enables a concrete floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Part E.

Specification
The acoustic insulant shall be:
Monarfloor Impact 18, manufactured by Icopal Ltd, Lyon Way, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL4 0LB.
Install Monarfloor Impact 18 in accordance with relevant specification clauses and design details.
Installation
- Fix Monarfloor Acoustic Flanking Band at the floor perimeter.
- Lay Monarfloor Impact 18 over levelling screed, in broken bond pattern, applying adhesive to all tongued and grooved panel joints.
- Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band.
