Specification

The acoustic insulant shall be:

Monarfloor Acoustic Batten system. Install Monarfloor Acoustic Batten in accordance with relevant specification clauses and design details.

Installation

Fix Monarfloor Acoustic Flanking Band at the floor perimeter, in accordance with installation instructions.
Lay Monarfloor Acoustic Batten foam side down, at 400mm max. centres for 18mm chipboard flooring or 500mm max. centres for 22mm chipboard flooring.
Apply Monarfloor adhesive to the top of Acoustic Batten and lay flooring, applying adhesive to all panel joints.
Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band.
