Monarfloor Acoustic Cradle Installation

Monarfloor Acoustic Cradle consists of a layer of LRAC foam bonded to an injection moulded plastic cradle. When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system it enables a concrete or timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of PartE.

Installation

  1. Fix Monarfloor Acoustic Flanking Band at the floor perimeter.
  2. Lay Monarfloor Acoustic Cradle with 18mm or 22mm chipboard deck over masonry or existing floor boards, in broken bond pattern with all joints supported, applying adhesive to all tongued and grooved panel joints.
  3. Install skirting and trim off excess Flanking Band.
