NoiseStop Mat
Description
NoiseStop Mat is a rubber based compound used to reduce surface areas on floors. This reduction of surface area can help to minimise impact sounds and transmission of sound between floors. The mat can be used on any floor surface under any floor finish to help reduce the passage of sound.
Its high density also allows the material to offer reduction of airborne sound by increase the mass of the floor it is applied to.

Colour
Black-Grey. There is no added colour, however being made using recycled materials surface appearance may vary slightly.
Acoustic Performance
Will offer up to 25dB impact sound reduction at 6mm thick.

General Detail
Standard adhesive associated with indoor carpets can be used to bond the NoiseStop Mat, i.e. epoxy/polyurethane exterior – polyurethane
The NoiseStop Mat is manufactured using recycled rubber from truck and car tyre origins and various foams e.g. Neoprene, EPDM and polyurethane are used throughout. NoiseStop Mat is a tyre and EPDM foam 50:50 mix.
The particles are bound with flexible polyurethane, which is non-hazardous and odourless. This is chemically inert.
NoiseStop Mat does not contain separate ingredients or materials which would be hazardous to health under the terms to the C.O.S.H.H. regulations 1988.
