Noise Stop Systems - Sound Proofing Floors Solution Options |
One of the most annoying problems you may experience in your home is impact noise on the floor above and airborne noise transmission from below. This problem arises when adequate sound insulation has not been installed between the floor cavities or sound damping material is not laid on top of your timber and concrete floor.
Noise nuisance problems arise from loud noises such as television sound, stereo music, shouting, kids playing, dogs barking, baby crying, couples arguing, impact noise on the floor above, musical instrument practice and running footstep on the stairs. We have several products that can be used in soundproofing floor applications. Our NSSF7, NSSF7 Plus and NoiseStop Isolation Mat products are well suited to acoustic flooring underlay. The NoiseDeck and Monarfloor are designed to reduce sound transmission through existing concrete or timber floor. Dense Fibre Mat is used to fill the cavity between existing or constructed floor joist. NoiseSonic E is used as sound control matting beneath ceramic tiles, marble, wood vinyl or carpet flooring in both wood frame and concrete slab constructions.
Whether you are looking for underlay for carpets, a floating floor solution or a cavity fill floor solution, we can provide the right soundproofing solution for you. We have soundproofing solutions for carpeted floor, concrete floors, laminated floors and wooden floors.
Below is a list of recommend products and materials that are compliant with Building Regulations Approved Document E (2003) and offers the greatest sound reduction.
