A high density mat, this flexible material can be used in any situation offering a sound reduction similar to that of a sheet of lead, except it is far superior in terms of versatility, availability, cost and handling.

A compounded and processed mixture of thermoplastic organic polymers, phthalate esters, mineral fillers, stabilisers and pigmentation.

Fire Rating

Normal fire precaution measures should be taken although this material is self extinguishing, at temperatures over 100ºC there can be gradual degradation of the polymers which result in the evolution of acid fumes. The rate of evolution increases with in increased temperature, and during combustion. Breathing apparatus should be work by fire-fighters.
