Floating Floors Soundproofing

Floating Floors

Noisestop Systems provide a range of floating floor soundproofing. Used to replace an existing floor or laid over existing floorboards. These are used if you know that this is going to be a loud room with the use of instruments, machinery etc. and help keep the noise trapped in one room without this escaping and potentially angering the people below. All of our floating floors are made in order to comply with the Part E Regulations which are in place for soundproofing separating floors.

To properly install a floating floor, this is going to have to be accompanied by acoustic insulation and isolation tapes in order to make sure that you have a fully functioning floating floor.

Some of the best uses of floating floors would be of that in the music industry, these would be especially useful in studios for example where the sound has to be contained as neighbouring buildings may become increasingly discontent!

As well as practicality, floating floors also look the part and can make a room quite attractive upon their installation. This helps for rooms that are in need of a change in appearance as well as one that will do its job to a high standard and reduce the sound from the room.

As well as this, the fact that they are much easier to install than normal flooring also makes floating floors a worthwhile purchase. They can be placed above existing floorboards which saves the process of removing the existing floor to replace it with a new one, which saves plenty of time and effort. These can be installed by people who have limited DIY knowledge and can therefore be accessible to a variety of customers.
