Delivery charges £55ex.VAT is applied to most of the products we supply due to the weight and size of the materials.

£20ex.VAT for smaller items. This charge is applied when smaller items are ordered individually without materials that we must deliver on a pallet. When smaller items are purchased with materials delivered on a pallet, only the pallet charge will be applied.

Softsound sound absorbing wall panels

Noisestop sound absorbing wall panels are manufactured from a sound absorbing mineral fibre core board faced with a thin, high-density, impact resistant mineral fibre panel. They feature reinforced edges and are completely wrapped in an acoustically transparent fabric in a colour of your choice.

These clever panels absorb high levels of sound and significantly reduce reverberation to create a comfortable and attractive acoustic space. They have hidden fixings and come with a good size and design flexibility to match your style.

These panels are perfect for use in commercial premises, high traffic public areas, call centres, offices and conference centres, reception areas, education facilities, health care buildings, recording studios, and theatres, cinemas and auditoriums.

Colour and Finish

Cara, Lucia and Lucia CS fabric ranges are available as standard in a wide range of colours. Alternatively, SoftSound® Designer Panels can be covered with a client’sown choice of fabric, subject to it being of a suitable quality and having the required acoustic properties.

Fire Performance

Cara, Lucia and Lucia CS fabrics meet the requirements of Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame when tested to BS476: Part7: 1997 (As Amended). The composite panels have not been fire tested.

Packaging, Handling and Storage

SoftSound® panels are packed vertically on the long edge, covered in bubble wrap and delivered on non-returnable wooden pallets. They can be packed on wooden crates on request.

Panels should be stored inside and under cover in a dry, well- ventilated area protected from dirt and dust. Pallets and crates should be kept level and not double-stacked. Extreme care should be taken when handling to avoid damage.

Application and Fixing

SoftSound® Designer Panels are fixed via concealed Z-Clips or VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners (VELCRO® is a registered trade mark of Velcro Industries B.V.) or similar on the rear of the panel. For areas where multiple panels are being used, it is recommended that a minimum 15mm shadow gap is maintained.

Care and Maintenance

SoftSound® Designer Panels can be cleaned periodically with a low powered vacuum cleaner. Under no circumstances should they be cleaned using water. Stains can be treated with an appropriate cleaning solution applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

SoftSound® Designer Panels are available to order and should be fitted by skilled tradesmen or specialist contractors.

Free delivery to mainland UK addresses on orders over £750*.

Standard Delivery

Our standard delivery charges are based on the delivery method that is most suitable for the products ordered. Most of the goods we sell are delivered on pallets. Some smaller items will be delivered via courier.

When you are ordering multiple products, only one delivery charge will be applied if the order total before VAT is £750* or over free delivery will be applied automatically.

Special Deliveries

We can arrange to have orders delivered on Saturdays. A surcharge would be applied of an additional £50.

How long will delivery take?

We aim to despatch orders within 2-3 days of placing your order.

If you order online, you will receive a confirmation email that we have received your order, and it has gone through for processing. We will then contact you once the order is just about ready to be despatched to confirm a suitable delivery date. If you would like to discuss delivery times with us please call 01423 339163. We recommend contacting us if you require the goods to be delivered on a specific date before placing your order.

If you place an order over the weekend, or on a Bank Holiday this will be confirmed as an order on the first working day after the weekend or Bank Holiday.

How will my order be delivered?

The majority of orders we despatch are sent on pallets. We use a network of pallet distribution companies across the UK. All our pallet deliveries are kerbside deliveries. This means the pallet will be delivered as near to the delivery address as possible. Pallets are unloaded from the vehicles with a pallet truck. If it is possible the pallets can be dropped on driveways if they are accessible with the pallet truck.

Pallet deliveries are normally made on 7.5-tonne vehicles that are similar in size to bin lorries. Occasionally larger vehicles are used. If you know of any reason why it might be difficult to deliver to your address with this type of vehicle, please let us know so we can pass the information on to the delivery company. Typical delivery problems can include parking restrictions, access issues for certain size vehicles, low bridges and overhanging trees. Call 01423 339163 if you are unsure.

Unfortunately, the delivery drivers will not bring the goods into your property or unload the individual items from the pallets.

Many of our items are heavy and often require two people to carry them safely.

All orders sent on pallets are wrapped and secured to the pallet to protect them while in transit. Once you have received your order, we would recommend storing the materials inside. If you are planning on leaving your goods outside, you should use additional coverage to protect them from any adverse weather conditions.

Damaged or missing items

In the unfortunate event that items are damaged or missing when your order arrives, you should sign damaged or missing items on the driver’s paperwork. Call 01423339163 to let us know of the issue to allow us to quickly rectify the problem.

We might ask for a picture of the damage; this is to speed up the process of arranging a suitable solution.

To enable us to resolve any issues with your delivery it is important that you sign for your delivery when it arrives.


Can I return items from my order? Yes, you can return unused items from your order that are in a salable condition. We can arrange to collect any unused materials and have them brought back to us. We would refund the cost of the items returned back to us less the shipping cost incurred by the company collecting the items. The cost to return the goods would be confirmed at the point of arranging the return. The refund would be paid once the goods have been brought back and have been checked at our warehouse.

Alternatively, you can arrange to return the materials back to us, and we will issue a refund once they have been received.
