The Noisestop2+ panel combines two 12.5mm layers of soundblock plasterboard with a 5mm mass loaded vinyl layer in the middle. The combination of products adds mass and density to the wall area. The mass loaded vinyl ensures vibration through the wall is reduced and the high mass blocks airborne noise transfer.

Fitting the Noisestop2+ Panel to a Party Wall
You can fix this panel to a brick wall with plasterboard adhesive or with screws and plugs. One bag of plasterboard adhesive should be enough for five panels.
You should always use AC50 acoustic sealant around the perimeter of the wall and on the edge of each panel. One standard tube of sealant should be enough for five panels.
Reduce flanking transmission by using DFM acoustic insulation between floor and ceiling joists.
Fitting the Noisestop 2+ Panel to a Stud Wall
The Noisestop2+ panel can be used to soundproof stud walls. Screw the panel directly over the existing plasterboard into the stud frame. For improved levels of soundproofing remove the plasterboard from one side of the wall. Insulate the cavity with DFM acoustic insulation and attach the panels to Soundbreaker Bars or to the stud frame.
