Firstly you could upgrade the existing door you have. If you have lightweight hollow doors in your home, the sound will easily pass through; try increasing the door’s mass by adding a soundproof sheet or one of our soundproof panels. It is also important to make sure the door closes into the reveal without any gaps. Check this by waiting until it’s dark, turn the light on in your office, step outside the room and shut the door. If you can see the light around the edges of the door, you should consider adding a draught excluder seal. This will help reduce the amount of sound that will leak through that area.
