Our high-performance isolation tape is designed to reduce flanking noise by isolating floors, walls, and ceilings at the perimeter junctions. Ideal as a sound isolation tape in acoustic systems, it also offers excellent flexibility and compression resistance.
Not to be confused with electrical isolation tape, this product is purpose-built for soundproofing applications. Flanking noise is any sound that travels around barriers like wall, floor or ceiling.

This sound isolation tape is designed to isolate walls from acoustic floors, helping to minimise flanking sound transmission and improve the overall performance of your soundproofing system.
Quick and mess-free to install, this isolation tape fits easily along wall edges and forms an essential part of compliant separating floors under Part E Building Regulations. Commonly referred to as perimeter edging strips or flanking bands, it provides a vital barrier between the wall and your acoustic flooring system.

Roll size: 100mm x 5mm x 25 linear metres
Isolation Tape isolates the flooring system from adjacent structures. The tape is trapped against the wall and returned down over the flooring. The skirting board is then fixed to the wall, securing the tape between it and the acoustic flooring. After installing the skirting board, trim the flanking strip flush with a sharp trimming knife.
Due to the nature of our materials, most orders are delivered on pallets.
Each order is securely wrapped and palletised to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and goods will be dropped as close to the property as possible. Please note, drivers are unable to carry items indoors.
Palletised deliveries are charged at a flat rate of £60 + VAT, regardless of how many pallets are required. Smaller orders under 20kg are sent via courier at £20 + VAT.
We hold high stock levels and aim to deliver within 3–4 working days. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive confirmation of the expected delivery date. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the goods.
